The purpose of this website is to support the Original Shiloh Shepherd Dog that was founded and developed by Tina M. Barber, owner of New Zion Shilohs, and to give an honest comparison of the differences between ISSR bred Shilohs and non-ISSR bred Shilohs. Just like the headline says, “If it’s not a ISSR Shiloh, then it’s not a REAL Shiloh!” Don’t be fooled by the lower quality imitations.
There are many things that make a Shiloh, a Shiloh. One of the greatest, is explained by Tina Barber herself and can be read on the following page. I could not have said it better myself. The article involves the history of the entire breed and a commitment that was made. Without that commitment, there is no Shiloh. It may be a Shepherd Dog, but it can’t be a Shiloh.
