Members have always participated in electing “Board” representatives. Our constitution was voted in by 103 of the 119 members in 1993. “The International Shiloh Shepherd,, Registry, Inc. is the only registry authorized to recognize a dog as a Shiloh Shepherd. The ISSR was formed to protect the public from purchasing a dog falsely represented to be a Shiloh Shepherd,,and to protect the genetic future of the breed. Thus, only dogs having a certificate of registration issued by the ISSR may be considered a Shiloh Shepherd.”
